It offers heartfelt coaching, guidance, and encouragement to help pastors lead well, grow personally, and care for themselves while serving others. Meet Our Coaches

Dr. D.J. Horton
Dr. Horton is the Senior Pastor of Church at The Mill in Spartanburg, South Carolina. During his 20-year tenure of leading the church, Church at The Mill has been consistently recognized as one of the fastest-growing churches in North America. He is also the founder of Living Worthy Ministries, where he extends his heart for discipleship beyond the walls of his church.

In addition to his pastorate, D.J. is a frequent speaker at FCA camps, NCAA and NFL chapels, and pastor’s conferences. An Alabama native, he earned a B.S. from Auburn University, where he was a member of the football team. He received an M.Div. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a doctorate degree in preaching from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He has been happily married for over 25 years to his wife, Laurel. They are proud parents to seven children: Ty, Micah, Lily, Grey, Rhett, Evy, and Harmony. When he is not preaching or pastoring, D.J. is a passionate outdoorsman who loves his time in the woods or the water with friends and family.

Dr. Mike McCormick
Mike is a people-centered leader, trainer, and developer who serves as a Pastor at Calvary Christian Church, a multisite church with three locations across Central and Eastern Kentucky. Calvary also partners in a community sports program that reaches nearly 1,000 young people each year. Passionate about building strong leaders and teams, Mike is also the President and CEO of Third River Partners, where he has helped organizations like Johns Hopkins University, Alcoa, WVU Medicine, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital implement Serving Leader development and Shared Goal Achievement.

He is the co-author of House on fire!: A Story of loss, Love, and Servant Leadership. Mike, his wife Kristina and their four children (Jackson, Reagan, Jonas, and Kennedy) live in Winchester, KY. They are avid Pittsburgh Steelers fans and also share a love for the UK Wildcats. He holds a B.A. in Applied Communications from Asbury University and both a Master of Theology and Doctor of Ministry in Leadership Development from Dallas Theological Seminary.
